Mission Control Media, Inc. is a premium non-scripted television production company formed in 2008 by veteran television producers, Michael Agbabian and Dwight D. Smith. The duo has amassed an impressive array of credits spanning network, cable and syndication outlets while successfully tackling virtually every form of alternative programming including competition-elimination, docuseries, music, live, variety, talk and game shows. Mission Control series distinguish themselves with a unique vision that includes a strong sense of character, story and style.

Signature projects for the company include Face Off, the wildly successful special FX make-up competition now in its eighth season on Syfy, as well as the hit NBC game show Hollywood Game Night featuring Emmy Award-winning host, Jane Lynch.

The company’s most recent projects include Framework, a furniture design and build competition series for Spike hosted by Common, as well as Hair Jacked, an ambush game show for truTV and How To Be a Grown Up, a comedy advice show, also for truTV.

Mission Control has enjoyed success creating and producing original formats including: Hot Set, a creative competition for Hollywood production designers on Syfy; Marcel’s Quantum Kitchen, an innovative food docu-series on Syfy; Late Night Liars, an outrageous comedy game show on GSN in partnership with The Jim Henson Company; The Big Match, a studio-based dating show hosted by Cat Deeley for Lifetime; and WCG Ultimate Gamer hosted by Hannah Simone, an elimination-style reality series for Syfy and USA which searches for the best all-around video game player in the United States. This groundbreaking project was produced in partnership with Samsung Electronics and involved integration deals with the largest video game studios in the business including Electronic Arts, Sega, Konami, Ubisoft, MTV Games and Microsoft.
